Feeling Thankful

The world around me seems chaotic, yet I find an unshakable peace within.

I am so thankful for what God is doing. From the oldest to the youngest, God is working in my family. Amid this peace, I witness God’s hand at work in my extended family too. God is faithful to complete the work He began.

I see chains breaking, built-up walls shaking, and lives changing as God continues His work. My heart overflows with love, joy, and excitement.

I’m not in the valley or on the mountain top; I’m on a steady journey to live in the day God has created, to be fully present in the moment, and to simply be. I strive to be the person God wants me to be today, in every moment, and in every way. No more struggling or fighting. I am standing firm on the solid and faithful Rock, Christ Jesus, who has called me to His plan and purpose. Who am I to reject that calling?

With the chains broken, I am free to be who God created me to be. Guilt and shame no longer weigh me down. The past is behind me, the future is yet to come, but today is here. Today, I live in the presence of God, simply being.

I want to be the person God calls me to be—a prayer warrior, a devoted family member, a creative soul, and a servant for His Kingdom. I hope to embody love and encouragement as a wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and so much more.

Today, as I stand on the solid Rock of Christ Jesus, may my life bring glory to the Lord who guides me.
