What Apologetics Is
Apologetics is the reasoned defense Peter describes in 1 Peter 3:15 — with gentleness and respect, not performance or contempt. The Greek word is apologia: a case made with evidence for the hope you carry.

Five Apologetics Domains
- Creation and Science — cosmology, fine-tuning, biological information. The created order testifies to a Creator. See /creation for the atlas; ask Dave to connect Scripture and research honestly.
- Scripture and History — manuscript reliability, resurrection evidence, archaeology. Study the text directly at /bible and /bible-reader.
- The Problem of Evil — the serious objection answered from within the Christian worldview: free will, soul-making, Job, Romans 8. Dave cites text; he does not pretend every wound has a tidy formula.
- Comparative Religion — why the incarnation and empty tomb distinguish Christianity. Honest engagement, not caricature.
- Moral Epistemology — if moral facts exist, they need grounding. The Christian worldview offers one; materialism struggles to account for the objector's own moral indignation.

The Ground Beneath Apologetics
The strongest apologetic is often a life changed by YHWH — "I was blind, now I see." Arguments remove obstacles; they do not replace proclamation or community. Teaching notes live at /sermons; ministry context at /ministry.
"Come now, let us reason together," says YHWH in Isaiah 1:18. Apologetics is taking that invitation seriously.
