66. ἄγριος [ἀγρός] 0. living in the fields, Lat. agrestis:
I. of animals, wild, savage, αἴξ, σῦς Il.; ἵπποι, ὄνοι Hdt., etc.; of men, id=Hdt.; of a countryman, as opp. to a citizen, Mosch.
