2064. ἔρχομαι I. to come or go, Hom., etc.

4. ἐς τὸ δεινόν, ἐς τὰ ἀλγεινὰ ἐλθεῖν to come into danger, etc., Thuc., etc.
5. παρὰ μικρὸν ἐλθεῖν, c. inf. to come within a little of, be near a thing, Eur.; παρὰ τοσοῦτον ἦλθε κινδύνου so narrow was her escape, Thuc.
