2171. εὐχή εὐχή, ἡ, [εὔχομαι] 1. a prayer, vow, Od., etc.: (but the common Homeric words are εὖχος and εὐχωλή); εὐχὴν ἐπιτελέσαι, Lat. vota persolvere, Hdt.; ἀποδιδόναι Xen.; κατὰ χιλίων εὐχὴν ποιήσασθαι χιμάρων to make a vow of a thousand goats, Ar.
