Am′pul‐la″ceous (�), a. [[L. ampullaceus, fr. ampulla.]] Like a bottle or inflated bladder; bottle-shaped; swelling. Kirby. Ampullaceous sac (Zoöl.), one of the peculiar cavities in the tissues of sponges, containing the zooidal cells.
