Bream, v. t. [imp. & p. p. Breamed (�); p. pr. & vb. n. Breaming.] [[Cf. Broom, and G. ein schiff brennen.]] (Naut.) To clean, as a ship's bottom of adherent shells, seaweed, etc., by the application of fire and scraping.
