Con″ger (?), n. [[L. conger, congrus, akin to Gr. �: cf. F. congre.]] (Zoöl.) The conger eel; — called also congeree. Conger sea (Zoöl.), the sea eel; a large species of eel (Conger vulgaris), which sometimes grows to the length of ten feet.
