En‐cum″brance (?), n. [[Cf. OF. encombrance. Cf. Incumbrance.]] 1. 1. That which encumbers; a burden which impedes action, or renders it difficult and laborious; a clog; an impediment. See Incumbrance.
2. 2. (Law) Same as Incumbrance.
