En‐throne″ (?), v. t. [[Pref. en- + throne: cf. OF. enthroner. Cf. Inthronize.]] 1. 1. To seat on a throne; to exalt to the seat of royalty or of high authority; hence, to invest with sovereign authority or dignity.
