‖E‐piph″o‐ra (?), n. [[L., fr. Gr. επιφορἄ, fr. επιφἔρειν to bring to or upon; επἴ + φέρειν to bring.]] 1. 1. (Med.) The watery eye; a disease in which the tears accumulate in the eye, and trickle over the cheek.
2. 2. (Rhet.) The emphatic repetition of a word or phrase, at the end of several sentences or stanzas.
