EXPERIENTIALISM

Ex‐pe′ri‐en″tial‐ism (–ĭz'm), n. (Philos.) The doctrine that experience, either that of ourselves or of others, is the test or criterion of general knowledge; — opposed to intuitionalism. Experientialism is in short, a philosophical or logical theory, not a psychological one. G. C. Robertson.
