Glance (glȧns), n. [[Akin to D. glans luster, brightness, G. glanz, Sw. glans, D. glands brightness, glimpse. Cf. Gleen, Glint, Glitter, and Glance a mineral.]] 1. 1. A sudden flash of light or splendor.
