I‐rid″o‐line (?), n. [[Iridescent + L. oleum oil.]] (Chem.) A nitrogenous base C10H9N, extracted from coal-tar naphtha, as an oily liquid. It is a member of the quinoline series, and is probably identical with lepidine.
