Mac″er‐ate (?), v. t. [imp. & p. p. Macerated (?); p. pr. & vb. n. Macerating.] [[L. maceratus, p. p. of macerare to make soft, weaken, enervate; cf. Gr. � to knead.]] 1. 1. To make lean; to cause to waste away. Harvey.
