MAJUSCULE

Ma‐jus″cule (?), n. [[Cf. F. majuscule. See Majusculæ.]] A capital letter; especially, one used in ancient manuscripts. See Majusculæ. Majuscule writing, writing composed wholly of capital letters, especially the style which prevailed in Europe from the third to the sixth century.
