Mulct, v. t. [imp. & p. p. Mulcted; p. pr. & vb. n. Mulcting.] [[L. mulctare, multare.]] 1. 1. To punish for an offense or misdemeanor by imposing a fine or forfeiture, esp. a pecuniary fine; to fine.
