Nudge (nŭj), v. t. [imp. & p. p. Nudged (nŭjd); p. pr. & vb. n. Nudging.] [[Cf. Prov. G. knütschen to squeeze, pinch, E. Knock.]] To touch gently, as with the elbow, in order to call attention or convey intimation.
