Per′fo‐ra″ta (pẽr′fō̍‐rā″tȧ), n. pl. [[NL. See Perforate.]] (Zoöl.) (a) A division of corals including those that have a porous texture, as Porites and Madrepora; — opposed to Aporosa. (b) A division of Foraminifera, including those having perforated shells.
