Pre‐morse″ (?), a. [[L. praemorsus, p. p. of praemordere to bite off; prae before + mordere to bite.]] Terminated abruptly, or as it bitten off. Premorse root or leaves (Bot.), such as have an abrupt, ragged, and irregular termination, as if bitten off short.
