Sin‐cere″ (?), a. [Compar. Sincerer (?); superl. Sincerest.] [[L. sincerus, of uncertain origin; the first part perhaps akin to sin- in singuli (see Single), and the second to cernere to separate (cf. Discern): cf. F. sincère.]] 1. 1. Pure; unmixed; unadulterated.
