Thrave (thrāv), n. [[OE. þrave, þreve, Icel. þrefi; akin to Dan. trave; cf. Icel. þrīfa to grasp.]] 1. 1. Twenty-four (in some places, twelve) sheaves of wheat; a shock, or stook.
