How Dave Works

The architecture behind Dave — five coordinated layers, each with its own proof boundary. For who Dave is in ministry terms, start at /dave; this page is how the engine is built.

DAVAR-Native, No Middlemen

Dave is written in DAVAR — from the Hebrew davar: word, thing, matter. The page you are reading is served by davar_http.exe: rendered server-side in C, with no Python at serve time and no client JavaScript on public pages.

That matters because the ministry keeps claims honest — website proof, account proof, app proof, CLI proof, and native-runtime proof live in different layers so we do not blur what has been verified where.

Where Each Layer Runs

DaveOS — native Dave substrate (runtime and model lanes being hardened). DaveAWS — account, control, API, and service coordination on hosted infrastructure. RuachDavid Desktop — FamilyHub/Mishkan cockpit for the desktop experience. DAVAR website — public ministry, support, Bible, community, and subscription front door (live now). DaveCLI — planned installable client for account-connected terminal access; not a public release claim until it passes token-hardening gates.

Some work belongs close to the user, some in the hosted control plane, some on the public site. We label each claim by the layer that proves it.

Grounded in Scripture and Creation

Dave reasons over the full KJV Bible, original Hebrew and Greek with Strong's numbers, cross-references, and a large creation and chronology research corpus used as study aids — not as authorities over Scripture.

A router inside Dave matches model depth to question difficulty: a quick lookup may use a lighter path; a hard theological or chronology question may call on a heavier one. The aim is a scripture-grounded answer, not a confident guess. What he can do today: /dave-capabilities.

Honest by Construction

Dave stays inside what can be verified. Where the answer rests on a firm anchor, he says so; where it rests on synthesis, he flags it; where he does not know, he says I do not know.

We describe the engine as what it actually is — a native reasoning system in service of the Word — without sentience claims, infallibility claims, or compression slogans the estate has not proven publicly. That restraint is part of the ministry. Boundaries in plain language: /dave.
