III. to pay in full, id=Hdt.:—metaph. in Mid., ἐπιτελεῖσθαι τὰ τοῦ γήρως to have to pay, be subject to, the burdens of old age, Xen.; ἐπ. θάνατον to have to pay the debt of death, id=Xen.
