Sanctum Enemies

Concept art and design notes for the creatures that inhabit the Sanctum world — drawn from the biblical fauna of the ancient Near East. This hub documents the enemy roster; it does not claim any encounter is playable yet.

The Enemy Archive

Every enemy in Sanctum of Spiritborn is drawn from the actual fauna of the biblical world — not fantasy creatures invented for the sake of a game, but the real animals Scripture describes: the lion that David killed, the asp that coiled in the wilderness, the wolf that scattered the sheep. The game is a living atlas; the enemies are witnesses to the same created order that the rest of the Sanctum catalogs. Six concept batches shipped through WO22833–22837; none are runtime-playable until a documented proof pass completes.

Proof Labels for Enemy Entries

Every claim in the enemy archive carries an evidence tier — nothing outruns its proof.

Canon means the creature is named in Scripture — asp, jackal, scorpion, lion, wolf — with verse citations where applicable.

Concept means a visual study exists — silhouette, material pass, behavioral brief; art is not claimed as game-ready, GLB-imported, or playable.

Staged means a model pass is queued but not begun; the concept is approved for pipeline entry only.

Model means a 3D mesh has been generated, reviewed, and passes load/render quality — a separate documented proof pass.

Runtime means in-engine with animation, collision, AI behavior, and encounter loop — the highest tier; no enemy qualifies today.

Enemy Concepts (WO22833–WO22837)

Concept, Model, and Runtime

Concept means visual identity established — silhouette, material pass, behavioral brief documented. Model means a 3D mesh has been generated, reviewed, and passes the load/render quality bar. Runtime means the model is in-engine with working animation, collision, AI behavior, and a complete encounter loop. All six shipped concepts are at Concept stage. The next bounded step is a single-model proof pass for the Desert Asp.

Next Milestone

The next bounded step is a single-model proof pass for the Desert Asp: silhouette finalization, material quality at intended camera distance, and successful load and idle animation in the runtime. Once that proof is complete and verified, the rest of the enemy roster follows the same pipeline — one model, one proof, before the next claim.
