Roadmap Philosophy
The Sanctum roadmap is not a marketing schedule. It is a map of bounded steps with clear proof gates. Each phase has a defined entry condition (what must be proven before it begins) and a defined exit condition (what must be demonstrated before the next phase starts). No phase is claimed complete until the exit proof exists. No date is published until a phase is in active progress with the required infrastructure in place.
Proof Labels for Roadmap Claims
Every milestone on this roadmap carries an evidence tier — nothing outruns its proof.
Complete means the exit proof for that phase exists and has been reviewed — documented with receipts, not marketing copy.
In Progress means active work with infrastructure in place; partial proof may exist but the exit gate is not yet met.
Planned means the phase is defined with entry and exit conditions, but work has not started.
Concept means a visual reference or design packet exists; not claimed as model-ready or playable.
Playable means in-engine with working assets — the highest tier; reserved for Phase 5 public demo claims only.

Development Phases
- Phase 0 — Foundation [Complete]. DAVAR runtime live. danczministries.com served natively. Creation Atlas, Bible engine, Dave AI, community platform all operational. The platform that Sanctum will run on exists and is proven.
- Phase 1 — World Reference [In Progress]. Biblical animal catalog, fossil cards, enemy concepts, people archive, and creation atlas data organized and reviewed. The world is documented before it is built.
- Phase 2 — Single Model Proof [Planned]. Desert Asp model proof pass: load, render, idle animation, quality review. This single proof establishes the pipeline. Every subsequent model follows the same gates.
- Phase 3 — Player & Environment [Planned]. Player character model pilot via Avatar Creator. First biome world geometry pass. Basic locomotion and camera proven in-engine.
- Phase 4 — Encounter Loop [Planned]. One enemy encounter fully functional: spawn, AI behavior, attack cycle, player response, resolution. No more complexity than this until it is proven.
- Phase 5 — Public Demo [Planned]. A single short playable scene — one biome, one encounter type, one biblical narrative moment — suitable for public review and honest feedback.
What Each Phase Gate Requires
Concept stage requires: visual reference documented, Scripture connection noted where applicable, quality review passed. Model stage requires: mesh generated, load test passed, render quality at intended camera distance confirmed, documented with screenshots. Playable stage requires: in-engine integration, animation cycle working, collision correct, AI behavior functional, documented with video or live demo. Each gate is a threshold, not a checkbox.
The Long View
Sanctum of Spiritborn is a game built on the same foundation as everything else in this ministry — Scripture first, honesty always, no hype that outruns proof. It will take as long as it takes. The roadmap is not a deadline; it is a compass. YHWH's work is not rushed, and neither is this.
