Giving, refunds, and cancellations
Plain rules for donations, refunds, recurring support, and paid access boundaries.
Effective and last updated: April 27, 2026.
1. What a donation or payment is
A donation is support for the ministry's work. It is not a purchase of counseling, a guaranteed response, special relational access, or a product entitlement unless the site explicitly states otherwise in a separate clearly named offering or program.
If paid Dave AI access, credits, or subscriptions are offered, those should be described as access to a digital service, not as a promise of personal ministry care, crisis response, or uninterrupted availability.
2. How payments are processed
The public giving page currently routes donors to a secure hosted payment processor. Payment processing and recurring-billing controls are handled through the selected provider rather than a direct on-site card-storage system operated by Dancz Ministries. Donor records, donor receipts, and donor follow-up may still be managed directly by Dancz Ministries.
3. Recurring gifts, access, and subscriptions
If you start a recurring gift through the current payment provider, you should also be able to manage or cancel that recurring instruction through the provider's controls or through direct ministry help when offered. If you start recurring access or a subscription through another provider, use that provider's cancellation controls first unless the payment page gives a different instruction.
If you cannot find the cancellation control or the issue includes private account details, contact support directly. Do not post payment, account, or identifying details in a public Discord channel.
4. Restricted gifts and donor intent
Unless the ministry explicitly agrees in writing to a restricted purpose, gifts should be understood as general support for ministry operations, publishing, public site work, digital ministry surfaces, and related mission needs as leadership determines.
5. Refund requests
If you believe a donation, access payment, or subscription charge was made in error, duplicated, or processed incorrectly, contact the ministry as soon as possible. Refund requests should be reviewed case by case. Provider fees, chargeback risk, time elapsed, account status, delivered access, and already-disbursed ministry use may affect what can be returned.
For fastest review, include the date, payment provider, transaction ID if available, the email used at checkout, and a short explanation of what happened. Do not include full card numbers, bank details, passwords, or private security codes.
6. Tax and legal note
Do not assume tax deductibility unless the ministry explicitly confirms its current status. If a donation decision depends on tax treatment, contact the ministry for the most current written information before giving.
7. Gifts the ministry may decline
The ministry may decline, reverse, or return gifts that appear fraudulent, unlawful, materially confusing, operationally unsafe, or inconsistent with sound stewardship and compliance responsibilities.
8. Questions before you give or subscribe
If you are uncertain about monthly support, tax treatment, recurring cancellation, paid access, or whether a gift fits a specific purpose, the cleanest move is to ask first. Clearer conversation is better than pressured giving. Email hello@danczministries.com or use the contact page.
