Sanctum Species
The curated bestiary of Sanctum of Spiritborn — the biblical creatures of Scripture rendered with approved concept art. A research corpus of ~1.8 million species stands behind a small, hand-curated public shelf. Every claim carries an honest proof label.
A Governance-Gated Bestiary
Sanctum's living-world catalog indexes roughly 1.8 million animal species — the full GBIF Animalia Backbone — as a research corpus. That corpus is not the same as the public game. This page is the curated shelf: the creatures named in Scripture and the species that already carry reviewed, approved concept art.
The scale is honest in both directions. Millions of rows exist as taxonomy metadata; only a hand-curated set is presented here with art. Nothing on this page is a model, a playable asset, or a promotion claim — the art is website concept study, drawn entirely from already-public Sanctum assets.
Creature of the Day
A single creature from the curated shelf, rotating each day. Read its full record at Sanctum Animals.
Rotation is seeded by the calendar day and draws only from already-public, approved-art entries.
The Curated Shelf
Biblical creatures first, then the wider approved-art set. Each card links to its full species record. [Concept] means a reviewed visual study exists — not a model, GLB, or playable asset.

Embarrassment gate: Every image here is already-public Sanctum art. No new art was generated, no model was unlocked, and no taxonomy rows were ingested to build this page. The full ~1.8M index lives behind Sanctum Animals; promotion past Index tier always requires a separate review gate.
Proof Labels for Species
Every species claim carries an evidence tier — nothing outruns its proof.
Index means the species is cataloged in the GBIF-backed taxonomy reference (~1.8M rows); no individual wiki page is implied.
Canon means the creature is named in Scripture — lion, eagle, serpent, dove, leviathan, behemoth — with verse citations.
Concept means a reviewed Theia A100 visual study exists; art is not claimed as game-ready, GLB-imported, or playable.
Model and Playable are separate, documented proof passes — none are claimed on this page.

Research Corpus vs. Public Shelf
The ~1.8 million species are indexed from the GBIF Animalia Backbone and held in the platform database as a reference corpus. They are not all live as hand-authored pages, and they are not all rendered with art. The curated shelf above is intentionally small: Scripture-named creatures and species with reviewed art. Growing the public shelf is a governed step — new ingests and promotions happen only behind an explicit review gate, never as a side effect of viewing this page.
Ask Dave About the Creatures
Dave holds the taxonomic records, the scriptural references for the named creatures, and the creation-science context behind every entry in the Sanctum bestiary. Ask him about any animal in Scripture or the wider catalog.
